Food is fuel for the 1,000 different species of bacteria, fungus and yeast that reside in our gut. Eating the wrong types of food leads to:
• Painful bloating
• Brain fog
• Poor absorption of nutrients
These symptoms and more leave us feeling depleted of energy, emotional, fatigued, and general impact our daily lives. Left unchecked, gut problems can lead to other complications within the different systems of our body like – imbalanced hormones, mental health problems, nervous system issues, skin issues, chronic health conditions and autoimmunity

Humans and bacteria have a mutualistic relationship.
Coexisting side by side, humans and bacteria have evolved and thrived on this planet by providing each other with food, shelter, and protection from pathogens.
Bacteria ferment the food we provide to them and metabolise this into vitamins and essential fatty acids. These fatty acids help to reduce:
• Inflammation in the gut
• Maintain ph. Levels within the colon
• Feed cells within the gut lining.
In return, humans provide a safe space in which the bacteria can grow healthy and protect the vulnerable barriers that guard our inside organs and blood stream.
Given the wrong types of foods, too much medication, stress, mindless eating, can lead to an imbalance within this vital system, leaving us wide open for opportunistic bacteria and pathogens to grow.
